Obscurity warning! If you don't know these characters it's not a big surprise. Depicted here are DC's "Suicide Squad" from the late 1950s, along with "Orogo" from the last days of Timely Comics (which would become Marvel) when they were big into alien robots and such.

But I like obscure references, so when a commission comes along like this one, well, I just HAVE to do it. This was a lot of fun. I also found out that the female protagonist in the original Suicide Squad has the same first name as my wife--Karin (pronounced "car-in"). Pretty cool, eh?
